Create & Develop Soundtracks: Adam's Playlist

Merchandise Manager and long time friend of Create & Develop, Adam Hogarth has lovingly curated this month's Create & Develop Soundtrack (which we're very happy to share with you!)

"Hello, my name is Adam Hogarth, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked as a Senior Merchandiser / Merch Manager for some amazing companies over the years. I’m currently employed as Head of Merchandising for Influence / Native Youth (2016/2017 Drapers Young Fashion Brand of the Year) in Manchester. I do the boring non-creative stuff. I turn the designs into reality and manage the expectations of the Buyers. I'm the guy who gets shouted at...lots! But I love what I do. I work with good people.

My love of music started and was influenced by the artists my Dad had piped into my cot at the age of 1.... After then I took inspiration from the amazing people / emotions / tunes that I’ve met along the way over the the last 37 years. And then I let the other lovely people in....those with equally awesome music tastes (Like Kerry. She can dance, and sing, and likes vinyl... put that on the website Kerry!) Other than that I'm a massive vinyl / bedroom DJ geek. My Sundays are spent digging crates of vinyl. I'm a big runner, but I get more injuries from spending 3 hours in Kingbee Records on my haunches, than any 10k. "Find what you love...and let it kill you!" (Charles Bukowski..allegedly)

I hope you like it, as it’s been a real challenge to whittle it down to just 15 tracks! (like Sophie's Choice actually!). On the other hand, Kerry asking me to do this was a green light to the most fun I could have.

Here's my playlist to brighten up your Monday - hope you enjoy!"
