We seek an Assistant Merchandiser / Merchandiser / Demand Planner on behalf of this established creator and producer of apparel and accessories, someone who is a logical, problem solver who can use data to highlight trends and help manage their global stock footprint as effectively as possible.
Your role will involve;-
Stock production and movement forecasting across all brands with an increased focus on avoiding out of stocks and improving efficiency. This includes:
-
Forecasting production in China;
-
Managing timelines on different business peaks/production timelines; and
-
Assessing frequency of orders to minimise out of stocks but also minimise total stock investment and recurring storage bills.
Amazon replenishment calculations (across all brands), including:
-
Considering volumes for direct Amazon fulfilment from China;
-
Weekly replenishment with a balance of maintaining availability within the warehousing constraints provided by Amazon; and
-
Price management for over/under stocks.

Identifying and assessing out of lost sales
-
Assessing new product development performance and updating launch stock parameters.
About you;-
-
You'll have a minimum of 18 months experience in a Head Office merch function, ideally in apparel or a similar category
-
You will love solving complicated problems
-
Your numeracy skills will be of a good level
-
You will be an advanced excel user
-
Commercially aware
-
You will have the ability to organise data, generate insights and communicate findings
-
Naturally accurate with a high level of attention to detail
-
Personable and able to work across different teams and functions
