A truly superb opportunity for an experienced account manager with product development  expertise to join this long established, quality and design driven business,  supplying apparel into high street stores, supermarkets and online accounts.

 

This challenging and highly rewarding appointment will suit you if you you're a vibrant and enthusiastic self starter and enjoy working in a fast pace, energetic environment.

​

Your experience will mirror the key responsibilities of the role, which include ;- 

​

  • Working with the design team to create ranges specific to customers’ requirements 

  • Attending sales meetings with buyers and designers to present garment ranges   

  • Manage price negotiations and order confirmations.

  • Liaise and coordinate with overseas factories to create high quality samples achieving key deadlines and price points.

  • Reviewing design tech packs, ensuring all details and specifications are covered and correct 

  • Managing sample critical path for sample development, co -ordinating fabrics and trims etc. 

  • On order confirmation, manage a detailed handover to merchandisers with all product information and price information

We're recruiting a Wholesale Account Manager on behalf of this contemporary fashion co - in this exciting, challenging and rewarding role you will be responsible for maintaining existing business as well as recognising and executing new business opportunities, with a mix of selling their in house brands and working on private label accounts with the High Street and OnlIne retailers. 

​

You will be based out of their Manchester based HQ / showroom and will enjoy being out on the road visiting your existing and target customer base.

​

This is your chance to work with prominent, design driven fashion brands.

​

Your role responsibilities will include;-

​

  • Working closely with customers to influence their buy, keeping them informed of new product drops and identifying opportunities to maximise sales

  • Driving sales as part of an ongoing growth plan

  • Act as the figurehead of the business, ensuring optimum customer service

  • Presentation, communication and good IT skills are key along with a keen eye for styling and visual merchandising

  • You'll be a motivated self starter, with a proven and successful track record in fashion business development
