  • Working with the design team to create ranges specific to customers’ requirements 

  • Attending sales meetings with buyers and designers to present garment ranges   

  • Manage price negotiations and order confirmations.

  • Liaise and coordinate with overseas factories to create high quality samples achieving key deadlines and price points.

  • Reviewing design tech packs, ensuring all details and specifications are covered and correct 

  • Managing sample critical path for sample development, co -ordinating fabrics and trims etc. 

  • On order confirmation, manage a detailed handover to merchandisers with all product information and price information

As an Assistant Accountant within their team, you will be responsible for maintaining ledgers via accounting software as well as providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data & preparing reports including:

 

  • Trial Balance

  • Aged Debtors and Creditors 

  • Asset register

  • P&L, balance sheet and cashflow

  • Producing accurate VAT reports for a number of companies

  • Ensure the completion of bank and balance sheet reconciliations

 

In addition you will also be responsible for ;-

  • Sending invoices to customers in a timely manner

  • Ensure payment from customers to ensure cashflows are maintained, and arrange payments to suppliers in a timely manner. 

 

Key requirements of the role include ;- 

  • Knowledge of MS Excel and Sage 50 accounting software

  • Understanding of VAT and payroll

  • You'll have solid reporting and analytical skills

  • Attention to detail plus you'll be deadline oriented

  • Ability to handle delicate information with confidentiality in mind

  • Numeracy skills

  • Business planning and budgeting

  • Production of management accounts

  • Fluency in Mandarin (written and verbal)
