PRODUCT COORDINATOR

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about bringing great products to life? We're looking for a Product Coordinator to join this friendly and collaborative fashion brand based in Manchester.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of the product development process, acting as the key connection between Design, Garment Technologists, and overseas suppliers. From coordinating fabrics and trims to managing approvals and critical paths, you'll help ensure collections move smoothly from concept to production.

What You'll Be Doing...

Product Development & Coordination

  • Coordinate the development, sourcing, and approval of trims, branding, labels, and retail packaging.

  • Ensure all components meet cost, quality, and compliance requirements.

  • Support the smooth progression of products through the development cycle.

 

Fabric, Colour & Artwork Approvals

  • Manage the lab dip approval process from submission through to final sign-off.

  • Review and coordinate approvals for artwork, print placements, and fabric submissions.

  • Ensure bulk fabrics meet approved standards for quality, colour, weight, and performance.

  • Help identify alternative sourcing solutions when required.

 

Critical Path Management

  • Take ownership of the production critical path and keep it updated daily.

  • Monitor progress across all stages of development and production.

  • Proactively identify and resolve potential delays before they impact delivery schedules.

  • Maintain accurate records and tracking information within internal systems and spreadsheets.

 

Supplier Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas suppliers and factories.

  • Communicate regularly regarding development progress and order status.

  • Ensure factories receive all approved trims, fabrics, and development packs in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with the Design team to keep projects moving efficiently.

 

What They're Looking For...

A minimum of two years’ experience in fashion production, sourcing, product coordination, or a similar role.

Strong understanding of:

  • Fabric qualities and characteristics

  • Lab dip approvals

  • Print and artwork processes

  • Garment construction

 

Confidence using:

  • Microsoft Excel

  • PLM systems (desirable)

 

A natural organiser with:

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Your New Role...

 

As Menswear Designer, you will play a crucial role within the design team in developing best selling collections. You will work closely with co designers, technical, sales, and marketing teams to bring creative ideas to life, ensuring they align with brand vision and aesthetic.

 

Your Creative Responsibilities...

  • Apparel Design - Assisting in the creation and development of original ideas, from concept to final product.

  • Trend Research - Conducting research on current and emerging fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques to inform the design process.

  • CAD'ing and Illustration - Prepare CAD's, illustrations, and technical drawings to visually communicate design ideas.

  • Material Selection - Selecting appropriate fabrics and materials which compliment your designs.

  • Tech Packs - Prepare and maintain detailed technical specifications and documentation for each design. 

  • You'll also enjoy designing graphic and print.

 

About You ;-

  • You will be an established Menswear Designer, skilled in apparel shape as well as garment decoration.

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop is essential + MS Word, Excel and PP

  • Strong sense of style, colour, and trend awareness, with the ability to translate concepts into functional designs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Your New Role...

  • Responsible for developing brand identities through graphic design, you will create original artwork for men's, women's and kid's clothing across multi product categories, working closely with the design team to fulfil global briefs.

  • You will design a high standard of graphic assets for own brand ranges and create photographic, AOP, placement and vector prints, driving graphic trends with a global outlook, inline with brand DNA, understanding of customer profiles.

  • You'll work in partnership with buying and marketing teams, presenting design ideas and attend comp shop / research trips.

  • Designing in line with critical paths to hit design deadlines.

 

About You ;-

  • You'll be an accomplished Apparel Graphic Design for fashion with strong working knowledge of Adobe CC.

  • A natural  team player,  you'll also be an effective communicator with excellent time management skills.

  • 3D Design would be a great advantage.

  • You'll have a passion for streetwear , sportswear, athleisure and activewear.

  • Technical knowledge of print techniques, experienced in creating tech packs inc sizing and grading of graphics.

We seek a Midweight Sportswear Apparel Designer to join this growing design team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating cutting-edge menswear performance collections, whilst also contributing to the development of women's performancewear too.

Working closely with the Design Manager, Buying, Garment Technology, Product Development teams, and international manufacturing partners, you'll help bring exceptional apparel ranges to life.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Researching seasonal trends, consumer insights, competitor activity, and emerging performance innovations.

  • Designing seasonal performance apparel collections from initial concept through to final product.

  • Creating high-quality CADs, technical sketches, presentation boards, and product concepts.

  • Developing colour palettes, fabric directions, trims, and functional design details.

  • Producing detailed tech packs for supplier development and production.

  • Collaborating with overseas factories throughout sampling and development.

  • Attending fit sessions and refining products through each sample stage.

  • Exploring new silhouettes, construction techniques, and innovative performance features.

  • Supporting fabric, trim, and component sourcing activities.

  • Ensuring products balance commercial success with premium design standards.

  • Assisting with range reviews, presentations, and seasonal collection planning.

  • Helping maintain a consistent and distinctive brand identity.

  • Contributing ideas around innovation, sustainability, and future product opportunities.

 

What They're Looking For

  • Degree in Fashion Design, Sportswear Design, or a related discipline.

  • Around five years' experience within sportswear, activewear, performance apparel, or similar sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of technical fabrics and performance garment design.

  • Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills (Photoshop advantageous).

  • Sound understanding of garment construction and fit.

  • Ability to produce professional CAD drawings and technical packs.

  • Experience working directly with overseas suppliers and factories.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • A proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop.

 

Desirable

  • Experience in print design, including placement graphics and all-over print development.
