As a key member of their Design Team, you will focus on the creation of innovative collections (ladies and men's) which reflect ever evolving market trends within their sector.

Your New Role; -
​
You'll identify and interpret key trends via comp shop and industry shows, gathering inspiration to translate into bestselling product
​
You'll create trend boards and colour palates
​
You'll play a major part in range presentations and seasonal launches
​
You'll also work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders (such as your supply base) to ensure the design critical path is maintained, key dates are achieved, and your designs are brought to life as specified
​
You will also work with your product development team to ensure accurate and concise tech packs are achieved
About You; -
You'll be an experienced mid level apparel designer, passionate about sportswear
You'll also have experience of designing apparel graphics / print
Advanced Adobe CC working knowledge is essential
Good interpersonal and presentation skills are also a must
You will enjoy working collaboratively with your team, as this role is based on site at their Greater Manchester HQ (they offer an element of hybrid working, with good transport links and onsite parking)

Join the team of this specialist in Menswear - we're working on their behalf to recruit a Product Developer to focus on their special brand projects from design concept to final sign off, working with innovation to continually improve and enhance product.

Your role responsibilities will include;-
​

Creation of first prototype specs for new design work including block assessment, creative styling and size measurements, working closely with design throughout.

Updating design CAD's via Illustrator.

Production of sample reports throughout the sealing process.

Working with fabric suppliers to coordinate lab dips
-
Progressing new styles from SMS to bulk production, conducting fit sessions, creating comments and finalising bulk specifications.

Liaising with design and development in weekly progress update reports and participation in weekly brand meetings.

You'll also develop solid working relationships with product factories, fabric suppliers. internal and external stakeholders

Focussing on full range design, from outerwear through to seperates, you'll design ranges with the needs and styling of your fashion conscious target consumer audience in mind.

You'll research trend and innovation across colour, print, fabric, detail and shape and in addition to your role as a Designer you will also;-

Conduct shop reports, visit trade shows and carry out competitor analysis
