They are looking to hire a passionate and commercially minded Garment Technologist to join their growing team. The Opportunity
As a Garment Technologist, you will play a key role in ensuring the fit, quality, and technical integrity of garments throughout the product development and production process. You'll collaborate with designers, suppliers, and factories, helping to drive quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery across multi product categories.
Key Responsibilities

Measure, assess, and fit samples throughout the development process alongside designers and customers.

Develop and maintain size specifications, grading, and size charts.

Provide clear, detailed technical comments to factories at all stages, including Proto, SMS, PP, and Shipment samples.

Update product workbooks with comprehensive fit comments, feedback, and technical instructions.

Monitor sample progress and proactively chase outstanding developments to meet critical path deadlines.

Attend and lead fit sessions in-house.

Ensure garments are produced to required quality standards and customer expectations.

Review AQL and final inspection reports.

Investigate and resolve product issues throughout the product lifecycle, keeping stakeholders informed.

Liaise closely with suppliers and factories to provide timely technical support and ensure shipment dates are achieved.

Offer technical guidance on new product development, helping to improve quality and reduce costs.

About the Role...
We're looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join this major name in High Street supply and play a key role in bringing products from order confirmation to customer delivery.
You'll be the link between customers, suppliers, factories, and internal teams, making sure everything stays on track, problems are solved quickly, and deliveries happen as planned. We're working with a super exciting fashion apparel brand group in their quest to hire an experienced Import / Wholesale Merchandiser .... a fast pace role in a growing department whereby no two days are the same!
Joining their team as a Merchandiser, your new role will include;-

The effective management of the critical in path, progress chasing orders and ensuring timely deliveries

Working with your co merchandisers, design and technical teams on lab dip, strike off and size spec approvals

Daily liaison with off shore sources, predominantly in the Far East
-
Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them updated from order placement through to bulk production and final delivery
You'll be ideal for this role if you;-

Have a fluid career to date, gained in supply or branded fashion in an import or wholesale merch role in the UK

You also have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills (inc Excel proficiency)

You'll be an effective problem solver, enjoy working at pace, have a great eye for detail and take satisfaction in getting the job done!
