So here it is - May's Create & Develop Soundtrack! This month's playlist has has been put together with love by freelance Designer Jenny Morrison.
Kerry and Jenny go back a number a years, working together prior to Jenny's freelance days - thanks for your musical journey, Jenny - we have your playlist on repeat!
"Hi my name is Jenny aka Miss Thread Head, a freelance fashion and graphic designer. I have worked for many brands and suppliers over the years designing predominantly streetwear ranges for men and boys. I started freelancing 4 years ago, which has opened so many doors and opportunities for me, whilst giving me the chance to work on my own projects. I feel very lucky to do a job that I not only love but also allows me to travel the world, meeting likeminded people.
My love for music started at an early age, heavily influenced by my Dad who has introduced me to great music from artists like James Taylor, through to LCD Soundsystem. As well as my Dad, numerous people I’ve met at clubs, gigs and festivals over the years continuously play a massive part in my musical journey. Nothing beats live music in my eyes and I still go to as many gigs and festivals as I can….although you’re more likely to find me at the back of the crowd than the front these days!
I wouldn’t be able to get through the day without 6 Music or a good playlist being the soundtrack to my day, so I hope my playlist helps ease you back into the weekend. Enjoy!"
